Did yesterday night 4 x 2K at home route, first time since May. Running felt good again. Also times were quite good taking into account the fact I’ve been running just 2-3 times per week and no speed training at all. Series went 6.41, 6.41, 6.44 and 6.39. The last one was with 2 min break, others 1 min. Last 1K in 3.16 “full speed” which was not much. Two days ago the longest run since the marathon and perhaps one of the three over 1 hours: clearly over 20K with 1.40 total time.
A month ago during Finnish midsummer I did Siikava test in 12.53. First part split 6.13, which equals PB, and only during the return the lack of proper training took the hit…
