Two nights ago 1000m on Grani track in the middle of a random run in 3.04,2. No workouts behind. Then Siikava test run yesterday in 13.00. First half 6.20, second 6.40. It was the worst time I’ve recorded but actually not too far from the regular sweet spot 12.30-12.50 where I’ve usually landed. Goals for the rest of the season include 1k sub 3 mins and …?

Good run, 2K and hill

Ran today a pretty good an hour set in crisp +10 degree spring conditions. Pulled a 6.39 at the home stretch and 49,4 to the top of Visamäki. Just thought “I can still run!” It’s been months I ran anything this quick. Felt pretty grateful. Few hours later the whole body was kinda shaking from the workout, like almost fewer coming… Now again overnight flights and Asian hotels ahead.
