"I've never had a message for anyone in my entire life. Except maybe to give out my room number."
- Bon Scott
Livin' easy, livin' free, season ticket on a one-way ride
Askin' nothin', leave me be, takin' everythin' in my stride
Don't need reason, don't need rhyme
Ain't nothing that I'd rather do
Goin' down, party time, my friends are gonna be there too
I'm on the highway to hell
The first verses from Highway to Hell (1979) make perhaps a kind of definition for the AC/DC.
Amazingly catchy riffs and a quality you can trust. It is respectful for anyone in the industry to
be so stable and honest for your entire career.
"We just go out and don't give a fuck about critics. We play what we play and that's that."
- Brian Johnson
A big part of AC/DC's appeal is their live show. Legendary numbers from Rosie to Let There Be Rock
simply deliver. I've seen it twice, in Helsinki and Oakland. Yes, it does rock!
"When I'm on stage the savage in me is released. It's like going back to being a cave man. It takes me six hours to come down after a show"
- Angus Young
