In memoriam — Ville Oksanen

Went through some terrible news today. Ville Oksanen, see my long time friend and colleague passed away. He was my call-to guy for anything possible that mattered over the past 15+ years. No matter what I was calling about I could always know his feedback comes with deep insight and the highest possible integrity.

Ville needs more than a quick obituary. To start with, levitra here’s something we got published in Helsingin Sanomat back in March 1999 when we were just 22-year-old nerdy students. I still consider this early piece kinda set the stage to everything that was to come in his life’s work.

12K sub 4.00/km pace

A very good run last night with Vane. Here’s the feed from his Garmin. I jumped in & out from my home for the loop into Keskuspuisto and back. It was like a race for me, check the first time since Midnight Run I was going sub 4 mins per km pace. The good news is the knee seems to have healed over the past two months. Last Sunday I did an extra long 1.50 effort, medical must have been over 25K, to Iivisniemi and back. Only the achilles felt worn out the next day.
