Synthesizer music has meant a lot to me. Starting from such popular names as Jarre, Vangelis, Jan Hammer and Mike Oldfield the stuff matured in the eighties into direction called Spacesynth that happens to be my favourite. The leading artist of the 80's were italian Anfrando Maiola (Koto) and dutch Michiel Var Kuy (Laserdance). Also computer game music of the 80's made a lasting impact on me. From that thread artists like Rob Hubbard the master of C64's SID and the anonymous fellows that made music to Konami's MSX cartridges were among the greatest. In the late 1990's came the Internet and I've been lucky to find artist like Polish Protonic Storm, Finnish Myvoice and Swedish Anders Lundqvist who can make really good new stuff with their roots somewhere in the great past of synths.
