Ribs broken?

Nothing much to tell over the past month or so in the running front. The knee has maybe healed but a week ago I fell while chasing kids in the dark forest probably breaking my left side ribs. Tried to run twice after that with increasing pains. The first time I was still wondering what was the problem. The second time had to make it just because I got to run in NY Central Park for a very long time. Hated when people were just passing by around the Reservoir…

Off-season

All the excitement following the 10 000m sort of dwindled down in the next race: 5 000m on Eläintarha. Followed Vane and Teittinen the first 3km or so with 3.15 pace, then burned down to finish in 16.57. I just couldn’t keep the “fast” pace. Then one week in the Bay Area, pulled up the hills but the left knee wouldn’t accept it anymore. It just got really sore. PG&E went in 1.06 twice. Basically no running at all for the past week. Now the knee starts to feel normal again.
