Cooling-off period ongoing

I decided not to run any more competitions this year. My legs just didn’t make it after Pääkaupunkijuoksu half. Now it feels the decision was the right one. I am not going to run these unknown local marathons but only major internationals with strong audience support and everything.

Think I start to practise again, with the goal of being in good shape whenever I feel like doing the big M. I am actually quite happy with my personal bests in 5K, 10K and half now. I could perhaps run 5K in 10 secs quicker but that wouldn’t make me much happier. I could also cut 10K sub 33 but so what? Half sub 1.12 but, again, so what? The only thing I am not comfortable with is to report my marathon record to those who ask about it.
