Since I am locked-in to iPhones for various reasons, I went out to Lasipalatsi plaza in Helsinki tonight to grab my own as “one of the first in Europe.” But first I had to participate in a stupid “lottery” where everyone won. They had a stock of 200 new 16GB black iPhone 3Gs for the luckiest of those first 1000 people eligible to participate.<\/p>\n
In the end there turned up just about 100 interested so everyone won. And the prize? The right to buy<\/i> an iPhone! Yes, you heard it right comrades. I won the right to buy… and I did buy my phone…<\/p>\n
There is no doubt that the official iPhone launch in the Nokialand flopped. I would actually like to know how many units they had to carry back to stores. More than 100?<\/p>\n
