Selecting the year’s marathon was in the end a simple process. This weekend we had the honour to host a visiting professor from Chicago. When he asked when I’m coming to pay a visit, the reply just came out: “So when do you have Chicago marathon?” – October 7. That day is the goal of this season.
I changed my plans a bit from what I thought last fall. There will be no spring marathon after all. Instead, I’ll take a few shorter races. I have scheduled a couple of road events as well as 3K and 10K on track before the end of May.
