I did something different to get the spirits back up. So last night was one of a kind. A friend invites me to have a beer in the city before he leaves for a longer trip. I’m still missing my daily run so I decide to combine. I put on my Levi’s carpenters, a random t-shirt, and a sweater. Put a clean shirt in my pocket, check the iPod, and hit the road! Running feels good so I decide to pace a little bit and take the sweater off. I’m hitting the 11.5K or so in close to 4.00/km. Right there 200m before Mendocino I switch the t-thirt and off we go. You can’t beat the taste of the first sips of cold Czech beer! Besides, those carpenters made a pretty good running gear…
Thu a 19K, fri 22K. Overall, I think could do marathon almost any day now. I could also most probably hit new personal bests in 10K and haf-marathon.
