I did it again! 5000 metres today in Leppävaara. Results here. Position 4/13. 1K splits 3.14, 3.12, 3.12, 3.15, 3.03 – last lap 68 secs! Started with easy pace and got some help for the first half – after that it was just me against the stopwatch. Curiously enough, I competed on the same track the same distance back in 1994 in the national youth championships. At that time I think I managed to do like 16.20-something. So the race tonight was a real track-comeback in many senses.
